There once was a woman, who wanted a puppy so bad,
To the shelter she went, to look at faces so sad,
With so many cute animals under one roof,
She was sure she'd find a soulmate with a woof,
But the universe found a way to alter her views,
The woman was instead drawn to the mews,
She brought home one kitty, then went back for another,
Every happy cat surely does need a brother,
So began the tales of the characters in this rhyme,
Brother Kitties who are partners in crime.
